Federal agents arrested YouTube personality Tyler "TyFx" Jenkins at his Miami, Florida residence following a multi-month FBI investigation into an alleged organized digital extortion and blackmail scheme targeting high-profile online influencers. An unsealed indictment in the Southern District of Florida alleges Jenkins ran an anonymous network that obtained private, unreleased multimedia content from other digital personalities and demanded cryptocurrency payments between $50,000 and $200,000. Investigators say secure messaging apps were used to threaten public release of the materials. The probe began in January 2026 after three lifestyle influencers filed formal complaints, leading digital forensics teams to cryptocurrency wallets and IP logs allegedly tied to Jenkins.
