Lincoln, Neb. — Nebraska and Ole Miss paused their Lincoln Regional matchup Saturday when severe thunderstorms forced officials to suspend the game in the top of the ninth with Ole Miss leading 6-3; play was scheduled to resume the following day, with initial reports listing resumption around late-morning to noon on Sunday. When play resumed Sunday at around noon CT, Ole Miss completed the 6-3 victory; the result left Nebraska to play No. 3 seed Arizona State in the afternoon elimination game at 2:00 p.m. CT, and the regional final remained scheduled later that evening under the adjusted bracket times.
