CHAPEL HILL, NC — Tennessee baseball opened the NCAA Tournament Chapel Hill Regional Friday at Boshamer Stadium, with No. 2 seed Tennessee (38-20) facing No. 3 East Carolina at noon ET on May 29. First-year head coach Josh Elander named senior left-hander Evan Blanco as the Vols’ starter and framed the matchup as a competitor’s test.
