Fayetteville — Arkansas freshman pitcher Saylor Timmerman returned to the circle after a 4-hour, 10-minute rain delay at Bogle Park on Friday and forced an inning-ending pop-up to strand Duke runners; Arkansas had won Game 1 and the Fayetteville Super Regional Game 2 was scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m. on ESPN2. Arkansas entered Saturday's matchup holding a 46-11 record while Duke was 43-16; if Arkansas wins Saturday it will clinch a trip to the Women's College World Series, but if Duke wins the teams will meet in a winner-take-all game on Sunday. Coaches Courtney Deifel and Marissa Young and broadcasters were set for the ESPN2 telecast.
