McKINNEY, Texas. On Friday Jordan Spieth shot a 9-under 62 in the second round of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch, including six consecutive birdies on his back nine, leaving him at 12 under while several rivals posted lower rounds earlier in the day. Friday's leaders included Si Woo Kim, who carded a 60 and stood at 18-under through 36 holes after a bogey on the last, and Sungjae Im, who recorded a 61 and an ace on the par-3 seventh. Spieth trailed early leader positions by one to several strokes, with the field moving into weekend pairings and two remaining rounds scheduled.
