PHOENIX — The Arizona Cardinals held voluntary organized team activities on Monday, and starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett did not participate while reportedly seeking a contract extension ahead of the 2026 season. Media were permitted to observe and film the first 30 minutes of practice, and several injured players were present on the sideline. Coach Mike LaFleur said this week the situation remains unchanged and emphasized the voluntary nature of OTAs; he also said the team has communicated that Brissett is the projected starter. The Cardinals have additional voluntary sessions scheduled through early June, and veterans Gardner Minshew, Carson Beck and others continue competing for backup roles.
