Arcadia, California: The city’s mayor, Eileen Wang, agreed Monday to plead guilty to a federal felony charge for acting as an illegal agent of the Chinese government, according to Department of Justice and FBI statements; she resigned her council seat and is scheduled to enter a formal plea in federal court in the coming weeks.
