Washington — On Thursday, May 8, 2026, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of International Trade ruled 2-1 that President Donald Trump’s temporary 10% global tariffs, invoked under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974, were unlawful after small businesses and other plaintiffs challenged their statutory basis.
