Beckett Sennecke, Leo Carlsson power Ducks to Game 2 win over Vegas

Oddsmakers liked the hometown Golden Knights. The Ducks made them look wrong, grinding out a 3-1 Game 2 win at T-Mobile Arena to tie the second-round series 1-1. Beckett Sennecke broke through in the second after Carter Hart’s strong start, then Leo Carlsson added breathing room in the third before Jansen Harkins sealed it into an empty net. Jack Eichel’s late power-play goal spoiled Lukas Dostal’s shutout bid. Despite failing on multiple early power plays against Vegas’ stingy kill, the younger, faster Ducks controlled play and limited Vegas to 23 shots. Game 3 is Friday at Honda Center.
