High school teams headline Russellville baseball festival results

Russellville — Pembroke Hill recorded two high-scoring wins at the Russellville Baseball Festival, beating Russellville 16-3 Friday night and School of the Osage 16-6 Saturday in a five-inning game; New Bloomfield posted an 11-0, six-inning shutout Friday morning, and Southern Boone completed a resumed game with a 1-0 victory on Friday. Festival results changed local standings and set immediate rematches and schedule conclusions: Pembroke Hill and Russellville were slated to meet again at 2:30 p.m. today, New Bloomfield was to play Class 1 No. 1 St. Elizabeth at 9:30 a.m., and Southern Boone planned to resume conference play at 10 a.m. today after the resumed win.
