Buffalo, N.Y. — David Pastrnak scored on a breakaway 9:14 into overtime Tuesday night, lifting the Boston Bruins to a 2-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres in Game 5 of their first-round NHL playoff series. Elias Lindholm tied the game in the second period after Rasmus Dahlin opened scoring early on a Buffalo power play. The win cut Buffalo’s series lead to 3-2 and sends the series back to Boston for Game 6 on Thursday night, extending Buffalo’s chance to clinch its first playoff series since 2007.
