CHICAGO — Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan resigned Tuesday after six seasons, electing to step aside rather than continue under a reorganized front office. The move followed the team’s dismissal of executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley near the end of the season; ownership had publicly said it wanted Donovan to remain.
