Russia lists European drone factories as targets

Read, Watch or Listen

Russia has publicly identified 23 facilities in the United Kingdom and several other European countries as potential military targets, saying they are allegedly linked to the production of Ukrainian drones or related components. The list was released this week by Russia’s defence ministry and amplified on Thursday by former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev, now deputy chairman of the country’s security council, who said the sites should be regarded as potential strike targets. In comments to The Mirror, former British army officer and counterterrorism adviser Colonel Richard Kemp warned the UK is viewed as vulnerable and should prepare for deniable Russian sabotage operations.
