Casper, Wyoming — The National Weather Service in Riverton issued forecasts and a winter storm advisory for Thursday evening as a weather system moves into central Wyoming, predicting rain late Thursday that will transition to snow overnight and strong winds beginning Wednesday into Thursday; NWS cited potential gusts up to 47–55 mph and temperatures falling into the mid-20s by overnight.
