SAN JOSE — Linus Karlsson scored in the sixth round of the shootout Saturday night as the Vancouver Canucks beat the San Jose Sharks 4-3, snapping Vancouver's four-game losing streak and spoiling the Sharks' final home game. Igor Chernyshov scored twice for San Jose and the game was tied late after Teddy Blueger's power-play goal with three minutes remaining. San Jose's loss leaves the Sharks perilously close to NHL playoff elimination, trailing the Los Angeles team by five points with three regular-season games remaining this week. Macklin Celebrini registered three points and reached 110 points on the season, while Yaroslav Askarov made 38 saves; the team will depend on remaining matchups and results to retain a wild-card chance.
