PITTSBURGH — San Diego right-hander Germán Márquez earned his first win with the Padres, pitching five innings in a 5-0 victory Monday night that ended the Pittsburgh Pirates' five-game winning streak; Nick Castellanos, Jackson Merrill, Jake Cronenworth and Ramón Laureano supplied run-scoring doubles. The Padres used relievers Ron Marinaccio and David Morgan to complete a seven-hit shutout; Manny Machado, Freddy Fermin and Xander Bogaerts contributed offensively. Pirates rookie Bubba Chandler took the loss, and the teams will meet Tuesday with Nick Pivetta starting for San Diego against Paul Skenes for Pittsburgh.
