Washington — The U.S. government ordered agencies Friday to stop using Anthropic's AI after its CEO refused Pentagon demands for unrestricted military use. Dario Amodei said Anthropic would not permit Claude to be used for mass domestic surveillance or in autonomous weapons, saying it "cannot in good conscience accede" to the language.
