Atlanta — Fulton County filed a federal motion this past week seeking immediate and complete return of ballots and other records seized by the FBI on Jan. 28 from a warehouse near the county’s Union City elections facility. The filing asks a judge to unseal the law enforcement affidavit used to obtain the search warrant and requests expedited review and limitation on federal use of materials while the motion proceeds. County officials say the case remains under seal; federal authorities have not disclosed the investigative basis. Approximately 656 boxes of records were reported seized.
