WASHINGTON, U.S. military forces boarded and seized the tanker Sagitta on Tuesday, marking the seventh tanker linked to Venezuela taken by U.S. authorities as part of measures to enforce sanctions and control Venezuelan oil sales. U.S. Southern Command said the vessel was apprehended without incident and alleged it operated in defiance of President Trump's quarantine of sanctioned vessels in the Caribbean.
