Delaware, US — A U.S. bankruptcy court on November 20 issued a default judgment finding Byju Raveendran personally liable for more than $1.07 billion after concluding he repeatedly failed to comply with discovery orders in litigation over BYJU's Alpha funds. Judge Brendan Linehan Shannon awarded $533,000,000 on an aiding-and-abetting claim and $540,647,109.29 on related counts, and ordered Raveendran to provide a full accounting of transfers including the Camshaft LP interest.
