Canada Names 14-Player Roster For Futsal World Cup Debut

Canada named a 14-player roster Thursday for the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup in Pasig City, Philippines, scheduled Nov. 21–Dec. 7. Coach Alexandre Da Rocha selected goalkeeper Léa Palacio and forward Esther Brossard among 12 returnees after Canada won the CONCACAF W Futsal Championship in Guatemala in May.
