Georgia said its annual human rights dialogue with the European Union, set for 21 November, was postponed by Brussels just days before the meeting. Media reports linked the decision to an EU-sanctioned member of the Georgian delegation; TV Formula named Deputy Interior Minister Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, who dismissed the claim and neither confirmed nor denied his inclusion. The Foreign Ministry called the postponement “completely unacceptable,” accused the European External Action Service of avoiding Georgia’s positions, and reiterated readiness for talks once broader political dialogue is restored.
