LeBron James sparks Lakers past Jazz | JQJO

Back from a 14-game absence with sciatica, a 40-year-old LeBron James handed out 12 assists and 11 points, slicing up Utah’s defense as the Lakers beat the Jazz 140-126 in Los Angeles. His passing drew raves from Deandre Ayton, and he set marks by becoming the first to play 23 NBA seasons and moving to sixth all time in regular-season threes. Luka Doncic led the Lakers with 37 points and 10 assists. After J.J. Redick’s halftime push for defense, Los Angeles stifled Keyonte George and cooled Utah from deep, pulling away as LeBron steadied both ends.
