Trump defends Saudi crown prince at White House | JQJO

At the White House, President Trump warmly welcomed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, praising him as a defender of human rights and a frequent phone friend, and vehemently dismissing a U.S. intelligence report linking the prince to Jamal Khashoggi’s 2018 killing. During a 42-minute Oval Office appearance heavy on business and partnership talk, including the prospect of up to $1 trillion in Saudi investment, Trump berated a reporter over questions about Khashoggi and the Sept. 11 attacks. He insisted the crown prince knew nothing, while U.S. intelligence previously concluded otherwise.
