Casa Grande, Ariz., Arizona Sonoran Copper Company filed a NI 43-101 pre-feasibility study this week outlining the Cactus Project, an open‑pit heap-leach SX-EW operation on private Arizona land. The PFS reports an after-tax NPV8 of US$2.30 billion and an IRR of 22.8%, with estimated average first-decade cathode output of 103,000 tonnes per year, 22-year mine life, 513 million short tons of proven and probable reserves at 0.52% total copper, and projected average annual EBITDA of US$574 million.
