A sweeping internet disruption on Tuesday left ChatGPT, social media platform X, and NJ Transit blocking user access as Cloudflare worked to address a worldwide networking outage. The San Francisco-based web security firm said it was investigating an issue potentially affecting multiple customers. Cloudflare also reported problems with its customer support portal and had planned maintenance in some areas earlier in the day. At one point, the company’s own status page failed to load.
