Cowboys benching of Lamb Pickens sparks gambling disclosure | JQJO

In a 33-16 Cowboys win Monday night, receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens were benched for the opening offensive series. Coach Brian Schottenheimer called it a coach’s decision, saying "there were some things that were missed," without elaboration. Both later produced: Pickens 9 catches for 144 yards and a touchdown; Lamb 5 for 66 and a score. ESPN offered no details, and an in-game interview did not address it. The episode raised concerns about the NFL’s gambling relationship, urging advance disclosure of altered workloads to prevent misuse of inside information.
