Trump calls Bloomberg reporter piggy backlash grows | JQJO

Donald Trump called Bloomberg White House correspondent Catherine Lucey “piggy” during an Air Force One gaggle Friday, after she pressed him on the Jeffrey Epstein files and a likely House vote to release them. The slur drew fresh backlash Tuesday: CNN’s Jake Tapper and former Fox anchor Gretchen Carlson called it disgusting, while Bloomberg defended its reporters. The IWMF said such appearance-based insults target women journalists. April Ryan condemned the remark and urged Lucey to persist. A White House official blamed the reporter, offering no evidence.
