Mahomes says consistency lacking as Chiefs slip | JQJO

Patrick Mahomes put Kansas City’s 5-5 stumble into sharp focus after a 22-19 loss in Denver, calling consistency the team’s missing ingredient and placing the responsibility on himself. The Chiefs’ five wins have all been by at least 13 points, while each of their five losses came by one score — a stark shift from their recent knack in tight games. Mahomes threw for 276 yards and a touchdown but also an interception and several near-misses. With the Broncos now three games ahead in the AFC West, Mahomes said they must start stacking wins.
