Trump Calls for NBC to Fire Seth Meyers in Post, FCC Chair Shares It

Donald Trump escalated his feud with late-night host Seth Meyers, demanding NBC fire him after a week of pointed monologue jokes. In a Saturday Truth Social post, Trump called Meyers talentless and claimed his show is a ratings disaster. Shortly after, FCC official Brendan Carr amplified the call by reposting it on X, echoing his earlier pressure on broadcasters over Jimmy Kimmel, who was pulled indefinitely on Sept. 17. Meyers had recently mocked Trump over newly released Jeffrey Epstein emails and over Trump’s decision to knock down the White House’s East Wing.
