Lurie meets AJ Brown over offensive role | JQJO

Nine months after a Super Bowl celebration, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie met with receiver AJ Brown to address Brown’s public frustration with his role in Philadelphia’s offense, per ESPN. The 10-minute meeting, coordinated by Dom DiSandro and first noted by NBC 10’s John Clark, ended with Brown promising to stop venting on social media while stressing he wants greater involvement. Brown says the offense isn’t improving and that wins are a Band-Aid, a stance contrasting Jalen Hurts’s comments after a 10-7 win at Green Bay. Tension lingers until Hurts finds Brown more, especially against single coverage.
