FORT WORTH, Texas — No. 6 Michigan edged TCU 67-63 behind double-doubles from transfers Yaxel Lendeborg (14 points, 10 rebounds) and Morez Johnson Jr. (10, 12). Despite 22 turnovers, the Wolverines (3-0) took control late after Trey McKenney’s three-point play put them up 51-49 with 6:24 left; Johnson added a layup, a strong inside basket and a putback for a 61-54 cushion. TCU (2-2) went cold, missing 11 of 12 shots over six minutes. Brock Harding scored 15, with Micah Robinson adding 12 and Tanner Toolson 10.
