Kai Trump missed the cut in her LPGA debut at The ANNIKA, rebounding from a rough opener but finishing 18 over par after two rounds. The 18-year-old amateur, granddaughter of President Donald Trump, carded a 5-over 75 with four birdies Friday at Pelican Golf Club, an improvement on her 13-over 83 Thursday that left her last. The projected cut was 1 over. Trump said she felt more nervous than expected but “hit a lot of great shots,” calling the exemption “pretty cool” and saying her game feels “in a good spot” for a high school senior.
