With six seconds left and a smile amid loud jeers, Stephen Curry drained two free throws to cap a late Golden State rally, sealing a 109-108 win over San Antonio. The 37-year-old scored a season-high 49 points, 31 after halftime, and tied Michael Jordan’s mark with his 44th 40-point game after age 30. Victor Wembanyama had 26 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks as the Spurs fell to 1-1 in West Group C and Golden State moved to 1-1 in the NBA Cup. A day after ending his Under Armour partnership, Curry said he embraced the moment and the noise.
