Kennedy praises Trump deal on weight loss drugs | JQJO

Last week, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stood in the Oval Office and praised President Trump’s drug pricing deal for weight loss drugs, thanking the chiefs of Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly. The move marked a sharp turn from his past attacks on such medications and their makers. The agreements would lower prices and expand Medicare and Medicaid coverage, even as Mr. Kennedy toggles between calling the drugs "miracle" treatments and raising safety worries. He was unavailable for interview and recast the industry’s cash cow as part of his healthy food campaign.
