Jahmyr Gibbs chasing Barry Sanders touchdown mark | JQJO

At just 23, Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs surged to 41 career touchdowns after a three-touchdown Sunday, edging toward Barry Sanders’ mark. Sanders holds the NFL record for players under 24 with 47 touchdowns; Gibbs, who turns 24 in March, needs seven more this season to surpass it. Since entering the league in 2023, no player has more touchdowns than Gibbs. One more score Sunday night against the Eagles would tie him with Jim Brown for fourth most before 24, with Randy Moss and Emmitt Smith next at 43—before he can chase Sanders.
