Bradley Beal out season with fractured hip | JQJO

Bradley Beal will miss the rest of the season with a fractured hip requiring surgery, the Clippers confirmed, following Tyronn Lue’s pregame “yes” when asked if concern went beyond one night. The guard was hurt Saturday against Phoenix while trying to take a charge, falling awkwardly and exiting for good. Recovery is estimated at six to nine months, per ESPN’s Shams Charania. For a 3-7 team already missing Kawhi Leonard, Beal’s loss looms large; he averaged 8.7 points on 37.5% shooting. Expect more Kris Dunn and Cam Christie minutes.
