President Donald Trump issued a proclamation granting unconditional pardons to dozens of political allies tied to alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election, according to Pardon Attorney Ed Martin. Posted on X Sunday, the November 7 document lists Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell. The pardon excludes Trump, applies only to federal offenses, and covers some co-defendants also charged in Georgia. CNN has sought comment from the White House and Martin. Last week, the president granted clemency to a retired New York City police officer convicted in 2023 of stalking a New Jersey family for the Chinese government.
