The NFL fined Panthers running back Rico Dowdle $14,491 for an obscene two pump touchdown celebration against the Packers, the league confirmed Saturday. He was penalized after pumping his hips twice, and Carolina missed the ensuing extra point, but the Panthers rallied to win 16-13. Dowdle said the move was inspired by a Key & Peele skit about excessive celebrations, and Keegan Michael-Key joined a Panthers team meeting this week to provide an update on the rules.
