Indiana completes Penn State comeback behind Omar Cooper Jr.’s epic toe-tap TD

No. 2 Indiana stayed unbeaten with a 27-24 win at Penn State, sealed when Omar Cooper Jr. toe-tapped a 7-yard touchdown with 36 seconds left to cap Fernando Mendoza’s 80-yard drive. The Hoosiers, now 10-0 and 7-0 in the Big Ten, earned their first ever victory in Happy Valley after Nick Singleton’s three touchdowns, including two in the fourth, briefly put the Nittany Lions ahead. Mendoza went 19-of-30 for 218 yards with an interception and an 18-yard touchdown run. Coach Curt Cignetti called it an unbelievable win, as Penn State fell to 1-27 vs top-five teams since 2000.
