Fox Sports ends employment of Mark Sanchez | JQJO

Fox Sports said Friday it no longer employs former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez. In a family statement, his brother Nick said Sanchez is recovering from serious injuries while grieving the loss of a close friend, calling the timing of the news disappointing and prioritizing his healing. The statement also references the recent passing of former Jets center Nick Mangold, a former teammate. The family said Sanchez values his time and colleagues at Fox. His criminal trial is set for December 11, though his recovery from an October 4 stabbing could delay the case.
