The Raiders fired special teams coordinator Tom McMahon after another ugly showing, NFL Media reported. McMahon, 56, joined Las Vegas in 2022 under Josh McDaniels and was retained by Antonio Pierce and current head coach Pete Carroll. The unit has struggled: kicker Daniel Carlson is 12 of 16 on field goals and 11 of 12 on extra points, including a 48-yard miss to tie with 4:30 left last night. Punter A.J. Cole had his second punt blocked and has seen his average drop from 50.8 to 47.6 yards, with net falling from 42.5 in 2024 to 37.5 in 2025.
