Daniels injury timeline clouds struggling Commanders | JQJO

Jayden Daniels avoided ligament damage after dislocating his left elbow against Seattle and won’t need surgery, but he’s out until at least Week 13, with reevaluation during Washington’s Week 12 bye before a Nov. 30 home game against the Broncos. The 3-6 Commanders have dropped four straight and are 7.5-point home underdogs to the Lions, with Marcus Mariota starting amid injuries to Terry McLaurin, Noah Brown and Luke McCaffrey. Daniels, limited to six games this year, left in an arm cast after his arm bent the wrong way; coach Dan Quinn admitted, “I missed it,” keeping him in.
