Broncos pass rush on historic record pace | JQJO

The Broncos’ pass rush tightened its grip after sacking Raiders quarterback Geno Smith six times Thursday night, pushing Denver to 46 sacks through 10 games. At this pace, they would finish with 78, eclipsing the single-season record of 72 set by the 1984 Bears. No team is close; the Lions are second with 28. Pressure is coming from everywhere, with Nik Bonitto (9.5), Jonathon Cooper (7.5) and Zach Allen (6.0) all near the top, turning opposing quarterbacks’ evenings into a nightmare.
