Alex Ovechkin became the first player in NHL history to reach 900 goals, scoring on a backhand against Jordan Binnington in Washington’s 6-1 win over the Blues. As teammates celebrated, TNT cameras caught Binnington tuck the milestone puck into his pants before linesman Michel Cormier asked for it back and retrieved it; the keepsake will likely head to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
