Luka Doncic had 35 points, 13 assists, nine rebounds and five steals as the Los Angeles Lakers held off the San Antonio Spurs 118-116 for their fifth straight win. Los Angeles closed on a 21-10 surge, capped by Kelly Olynyk’s putback with 1.2 seconds left before a Marcus Smart inbound violation gave San Antonio one last try. Julian Champagnie drew a foul but missed the first free throw, and the second was tipped off at the horn. Victor Wembanyama fouled out late; Deandre Ayton added 22 and 10.
