Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, 24, was found dead early Thursday in Frisco, Texas, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after a police pursuit ended in a crash, authorities said. Officers had attempted a stop at 10:33 p.m.; the chase was called off, and his vehicle was later found wrecked on Dallas Parkway. Kneeland fled on foot and was discovered at 1:31 a.m. The Cowboys and the NFLPA mourned a beloved teammate. A 2024 second-round pick, he started three games this season and scored his first NFL touchdown Monday.
