Heritage reels amid Carlson Fuentes backlash | JQJO

Nick Fuentes’ podcast appearance with Tucker Carlson has set off a bitter rift on the right, roiling the Heritage Foundation. President Kevin Roberts defended Carlson, prompting internal revolt, donor unease and a chief of staff’s resignation. The Zionist Organization of America announced it was withdrawing from a Heritage antisemitism initiative unless Roberts reverses course. In an all-staff meeting, Roberts apologized for mishandling the controversy but said he won’t step down. Critics from within the GOP, including Ted Cruz and Mitch McConnell, denounced the embrace of Fuentes, who has urged disruption as the Republican civil war spills into Heritage.
