AMD Strix Halo APUs Surface in Benchmarks

AMD may expand its Strix Halo lineup beyond the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, with PassMark listings flagged by VideoCardz hinting at Ryzen AI Max+ 388 and 392 chips, the plus indicating potential Radeon 8060S integrated graphics. The 388 reportedly offers eight cores and up to 5GHz boost, while the 392 could reach 12 cores. The 8060S lists 40 compute units. With budget GPUs like Nvidia’s RTX 5060 and AMD’s RX 9060 limited to 8GB VRAM, APUs look increasingly attractive. PassMark also points to a Zen 5 Ryzen 7 9700X3D amid leaks of higher-end X3D models.
