Jets keep Breece Hall amid trade chatter | JQJO

On deadline day, the Jets headlined with deals involving Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, but kept running back Breece Hall despite heavy trade chatter during a 1-7 start. General Manager Darren Mougey said it was not a teardown, noting the team fielded calls but values Hall, who he believes will help them compete the rest of the season. Hall is in the final year of his rookie contract, and Mougey offered no clarity on a franchise tag or re-signing in 2026, leaving March decisions to hinge on Hall’s performance.
